The 90 Degrees handlebar is designed to be run vertically, 90 degrees to the ground. Typical setup on a BMX bike has the handlebars angled back at the same angle as the headtube. This changes the bar sweep angles relative to them being vertical but is a comfortable hand/wrist position.
The 90 Degrees bar mimics this hand/wrist position when the bars are vertical giving the rider more room with optimized comfort.
